How to use

How to use the Avocado Serum

Apply 1-2 pumps to clean skin, on your face, neck and around your eyes. Do this morning and evening.

Extra: as an overnight mask

Twice a week in the evening, apply a little more Avocado Serum to clean skin, without cream on top. This way the serum works as a mask that gives your skin extra nourishment overnight.

For the best results: the 3-step routine

Morning: cleanse your skin with 2-3 pumps of Carrot Cleanser and a lukewarm, damp cloth (or just rinse with water if you cleansed well the night before). Apply 1-2 pumps of Avocado Serum and finish with a pea-sized amount of Tomato Base Cream. During the day you can then use an SPF.
Evening: cleanse with 2-3 pumps of Carrot Cleanser and a lukewarm, damp cloth. Apply 1-2 pumps of Avocado Serum and finish with a pea-sized amount of Tomato Base Cream.

The serums keep for 30 months after production, 6 months after opening. 30 ml lasts about 2-3 months, 60 ml about 4-6 months.

Scent

Deliberately without added fragrance, so you can also use the serum around the eyes. It smells the way the ingredients smell, often described as 'earthy'. Want a hint of scent? Mix it with a little Tomato Base Cream. The scent fades within a few minutes.

Why avocado?

Ik ben heel erg blij met dit heerlijke olie serum. Het feit dat er alleen maar mooie ingrediënten inzitten trok mij in eerste instantie. Maar het is echt alles wat mijn droge winterhuid nodig heeft.

Het serum is echt heel fijn. Ik heb een hele vochtarme huid. Als ik het serum heb gebruikt dan voelen mijn gezicht, hals en decolleté heerlijk zacht aan. Het is net alsof ik bij de schoonheidsspecialiste vandaan kom.

Heerlijk product!

Ik ben al aan mijn tweede potje bezig. Ik heb een heel droge en gevoelige huid en dit is heerlijk voedend. Het enige petieterige minpuntje (pun intended) dat ik heb is dat het etiket moeilijk leesbaar is en ik dus niet goed kan zien of ik nu de cleanser (ook al zo fantastisch) of het serum in handen heb. Ik heb het opgelost met een stickertje 😀

Dry skin feels tight, rough or flaky. By the way, this rarely happens because you don't apply enough product. The cause usually lies in the skin barrier: the top layer of the skin doesn't hold on to the moisture it has well enough, so it evaporates. This is called transepidermal water loss, abbreviated as TEWL. The Avocado Serum is formulated for exactly that. The high concentration of skin-supporting lipids replenishes the skin with the fatty acids the barrier needs, so the moisture stays where it belongs. That's why after a few weeks of use the skin feels less tight and more supple, even extremely dry skin.
