We sometimes get asked by customers whether 100% natural facial care is just as good as the synthetic products they are currently using.

When Cathy & Angela started Food for Skin, their starting point was: the products have to be of the highest quality, so that people keep using them. Without fans, no sustainable impact. So rest assured. Our natural skin care has been developed with great care, testing and independent analyses. We have won multiple Dutch Beauty Awards and receive rave reviews. The quality, what it does for your skin, has been worked on with great care!

Our natural care products contain 0% synthetic ingredients. This means care products without harmful substances such as parabens, perfume, microplastics or SLS. In addition, our 100% natural skin care does not contain fillers such as water. It is pure facial care with the most powerful and nourishing ingredients from nature: vegetables, plants and seeds.

On your skin there is a natural layer (the microbiome), where natural oils, viruses and bacteria live to ensure that your natural ecosystem functions. When you use aggressive, drying ingredients, this delicate ecosystem can be disrupted or even damaged. This can lead to a disrupted, sensitive skin barrier and various skin problems. The natural skin products from Food for Skin bring your skin into the right balance, which strengthens the skin's own function, resulting in a radiant, firm skin.

In addition to high-quality products, we try to produce as sustainably as possible. For example, our natural skin care products are made close to home (everything in the Netherlands and the Apple Peeling in Italy). In addition, we use as many ingredients as possible from residual flows. At the moment, 30% comes from upcycling. This way, waste gets value again! We also do not pack our bottles in an unnecessary extra box and they are recyclable (glass with glass and plastic with plastic).
