How to use

Morning

  1. Cleanse your skin with 2-3 pumps of Carrot Cleanser and a lukewarm, damp cloth. If you cleansed well the night before, you can also just rinse with water in the morning.
  2. Apply 1-2 pumps of Avocado Serum to your face, neck and around your eyes.
  3. Finish with a pea-sized amount of Tomato Base Cream on your face and neck. During the day you can then use an SPF.

Evening

  1. Cleanse your skin with 2-3 pumps of Carrot Cleanser: massage in gently and wipe off with a lukewarm, damp cloth, using soft, circular movements.
  2. Apply 1-2 pumps of Avocado Serum to your face, neck and around your eyes.
  3. Finish with a pea-sized amount of Tomato Base Cream on your face and neck.

Extra: as an overnight mask

Twice a week in the evening, apply a little more Avocado Serum to clean skin, without cream on top. This way the serum works as a mask that gives your skin extra nourishment overnight.

A trial set lasts about three weeks. Your skin renews itself every three to four weeks, so use the products for a full three weeks to see results.

Scent

A natural fragrance with an invigorating effect has been added to the Tomato Base Cream and Carrot Cleanser, but in the serums we deliberately chose not to add a natural fragrance, so they can also be applied around the eyes and are super gentle products. The serums smell the way the ingredients smell, which is often described as 'earthy'. Mix it with a little Tomato Base Cream if you want a scent experience, otherwise the smell fades within a few minutes.

The essential oils cardamom, myrrh and lemongrass have been added to our Tomato Base Cream and Carrot Cleanser, together less than 1%.

Lemongrass

Lemongrass is a real pick-me-up thanks to its spicy lemon aroma. It is strengthening, cooling and decongesting for your skin.

Myrrh

Myrrh oil restores the skin and is anti-inflammatory. In warm weather, myrrh has a slightly cooling effect on the skin. It is also calming and soothing.

Cardamom

Cardamom has a warm, spicy and refreshing scent.

Why avocado?

Avocado oil is full of nourishing fatty acids that help the skin hold on to moisture for longer. The avocados in the serum were rejected for the supermarket because they were too big, too small or 'ugly'; the elderberries are left over from making juice.

With this trial set you try the whole routine for three weeks: cleansing with carrot, nourishing with avocado, protecting with tomato.

Pas een paar weken in gebruik, en nu al resultaat! Droogterimpels - die al jaren onder mijn ogen in mijn gezicht tekende - zijn verdwenen!
Producten ruiken heerlijk fris, alsof ik zo de natuur in stap. Wat een fijne start van de dag (en afsluiting)
Persoonlijke voorkeur voor het aanbrengen van cleanser en serum - iets luchtiger qua textuur is misschien prettiger bij het reinigen en aanbrengen.
Maar het resultaat telt en dat is het belangrijkste - ben heel tevreden!

De kracht van de natuur

Na het recent aanschaffen van de producten van Food for Skin was ik direct onder de indruk van hun pure plantaardige kracht. De textuur voelt rijk maar niet zwaar, en al bij het eerste gebruik voelde ik hoe mijn huid kalmeerde en een gezonde glow kreeg. Geen kunstmatige geurstoffen of overbodige toevoegingen, alleen eerlijke ingrediënten die zichtbaar hun werk doen. Wat vooral opvalt is hoe snel mijn huid reageert; zachter, soepeler en zichtbaar gevoed alsof je huid een smoothie krijgt, maar dan van buitenaf. Een heuse aanrader voor wie op zoek is naar natuurlijke, eerlijke huidverzorging die doet wat het belooft.

Zachte verzorging zonder zooi

Wat een fijne producten hebben jullie gemaakt! Mijn vriend ziet zelfs het verschil met mijn huid na twee weken. Het voelt heel zacht aan en het fijnste vind ik dat het niet chemisch voelt/ruikt, maar écht natuurlijk. De prijs is voor mij wel erg hoog, maar dat vind ik het op dit moment helemaal waard. :)

Fijne producten

Blij mee. Ik heb veel crèmes geprobeerd. Maar ik hield altijd een trekkerig en moe gevoel. Na een tijdje deze set te hebben gebruikt is dat gevoel weg. Mijn huid voelt zacht en ziet er gezond uit.

Twee proefsets getest!

Ik heb zowel de proefset Avocado als Pumpkin gebruikt. Deze als eerste. In de eerste week was er sprake van 'skin purging', oftewel actieve ingrediënten die onzuiverheden al sneller als puistjes naar boven lieten komen, alleen maar goed! Rondom mijn mondhoeken bleef de huid gekgenoeg wat droog, ondanks dat deze set mijn verdere huid heel fijn leek te voeden. Toen ik overging op de Pumpkin proefset verdwenen de droge mondhoeken. Ik denk dat ik de Pumpkin set als basis routine ga gebruiken en de avocado olie in de wintermaanden als extra hydratie gebruik als mijn huid dit nodig heeft. Blij dat ik mijn huid op een natuurlijke en gemakkelijke (drie stappen) manier kan voeden!

Twee proefsets geprobeerd!

Ik heb zowel de proefset Avocado als Pumpkin gebruikt. Deze als tweede. Nu ik de 30 jaar gepasseerd ben, merk ik dat deze perfect aansluit bij mijn behoefte. Mijn huid oogt egaler en rimpeltjes minder diep/vereffend. Ook voelt mijn huid verstevigd aan. EIN-DE-LIJK zijn mijn altijd rode droge wangen minder rood en droog! Het rode is zoveel weggetrokken, echt super. Wel moest ik heel erg wennen aan de geur van de producten. Maar geloof het of niet, zelfs deze went 😊.

Helaas werd mijn huid heel vettig van deze producten en kreeg ik meer puistjes. Ook na 3 weken nog. Ik ben dus weer overgestapt naar mijn oude producten.

Hele fijn set! Ik gebruik de producten nu een aantal weken en ik merk echt al een verschil. Mijn huid is veel rustiger en mijn acne is bijna verdwenen. Na het gebruik van de reiniger voelt mijn huid zo schoon aan. Het serum en de creme smeren fijn uit en na de tijd voelt mijn huid zacht en fijn aan. Voor mij nooit meer andere producten!

Helaas te vet als dagverzorging onder een dagcrème. Daarnaast vind ik de gembergeur te overheersend en prikkend voor de ogen. Helaas om bovenstaande redenen gebruik ik de producten niet.

Wat jammer om te horen dat je dit zo ervaart. Het gebruik van een cleanser op oliebasis kan even wennen zijn. Bij onze producten hoef je maar heel weinig te gebruiken om de huid al goed te voeden, dus mocht je het in de toekomst nog een kans willen geven kan je altijd beginnen met iets minder. Een prikkelend gevoel is uiteraard niet fijn, en ook niet de bedoeling. Je kan ons altijd even mailen naar hello@foodforskin.care - dan kijken wij samen waar dit aan kan liggen.

Ik wilde graag natuurlijke producten gaan gebruiken voor mijn huid. Ik had vaak een droge trekkerige huid en veel producten bleven op mijn huid liggen. Eerst een proef setje food for skin besteld, heerlijke producten. Mijn huid voelt zacht en gevoed, zonder dat het vet blijft of er vet uitziet.
Inmiddels een volledige set food for skin in huis. Ik ben fan!
