The Natural Shower Routine

Your body skin deserves the same gentleness as your face. The Elderberry Shower Oil cleanses dry and sensitive skin without stripping, the Natural Body Bars are handmade soaps in three varieties, and with the Veggie Sponge, you can gently exfoliate with a completely plant-based loofah. Everything together is included in the Bodycare Set.

Mild for skin that showers every day

Many shower gels lather thanks to sulfates which, in addition to dirt, also wash away the skin's natural oils. This feels fresh, but leaves the skin tight and rough, especially in winter. Food for Skin's body line cleanses based on oils and saponified vegetable fats, so that the skin feels clean and comfortable. Without perfume in the apricot variant, pleasant for sensitive or fragrance-sensitive skin.

Sustainable showering without new plastic

One body bar lasts on average as long as two bottles of shower gel, without plastic packaging. The loofah is fully compostable and replaces synthetic sponges that can release microplastics. And the shower oil comes in a bottle made from 100% recycled plastic. Small choices that add up every shower.

Frequently asked questions about the body line

What do I need for a full body routine?

A shower oil or body bar to cleanse, and optionally a loofah for gentle exfoliation. The Bodycare Set contains all three and is a good starting point.

Should I choose the shower oil or a body bar?

The shower oil is the mildest and most nourishing, ideal for dry or sensitive skin. The body bars cleanse a little deeper and are plastic-free. Many people use both: the oil for the whole body, the bar for hands and areas that require more cleansing.

Is the body line suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes, the line is built on that: no SLS, no parabens, and cleansing based on oils and saponified vegetable fats. If you also suffer from fragrance sensitivity, choose the Apricot Body Bar, which contains 0% fragrances. For very sensitive skin, always test a new product on a small patch of skin first.

How do I prevent dry, tight skin after showering?

Three things help: don't shower too hot or too long, cleanse with a shower oil or mild bar instead of a foaming gel with sulfates, and pat your skin dry instead of rubbing. Especially in winter, when cold and heating air already dry out the skin, gentle cleansing makes the biggest difference.
