Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride : A commonly used moisturizer that leaves the skin feeling nice and supple - made from coconut oil and glycerin.
Zinc Oxide: UVA and UVB protector. The zinc reflects sunlight. Our zinc is non-nano and not coated.
Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil: Anti-inflammatory, ideal for the care of acne, oily and combination skin. Makes the skin smoother and prevents skin aging.
Terminalia Ferdinandiana (Kakadu Plum) Seed Oil: oil from the kakadu plum seed with Omega-6 that helps restore the skin and regulates moisture in the skin. Kakadu has the highest vitamin C content of all fruits!
Vaccinium Myrtillus (Bilberry) Seed Oil*: cold-pressed oil from the European bilberry provides extra protection against, among other things, harmful UV radiation that can age the skin.

Instructions
When using for the first time: remove the seal from the tube by unscrewing the cap.
Apply a small amount to fingertips.
Apply over face and body.
Repeat regularly, at least once every two hours.
Avoid the sun between 12 and 3 o'clock.
Keep children out of direct sun as much as possible. Suitable for everyone from 6 months old.
The sunscreen has a shelf life of 36 months after production. Check the best before date on the bottom. Shelf life 12 months after opening.

Scent
A natural scent has been added to the Tomato Base Cream and Carrot Cleanser that has an invigorating effect, but we have consciously chosen not to add a natural scent to the serums, so that it can also be applied around the eyes and they are super mild products. The serums smell like the ingredients smell, this is often described as 'earthy'. Mix it with a little Tomato Base Cream if you are looking for a scent experience, otherwise the scent will dissipate within a few minutes.
The essential oils cardamom, myrrh and lemon grass have been added to our Tomato Base Cream and Carrot Cleanser. In addition to scent, these oils have other beautiful effects, for both your psyche and your skin.
Lemongrass
Lemongrass is a real boost because of the spicy lemon aroma. It dispels lethargy and despondency and gives strength when you feel weak. It has a strengthening, cooling and unclogging effect on your skin.
Myrrh
Myrrh oil repairs the skin and has an anti-inflammatory effect. In warm weather, myrrh has a slightly cooling effect on the skin. In addition, it has a calming and soothing effect.
Cardamom

Mineral sunscreen without white cast
One of the biggest challenges of a mineral filter is the roughness and the white haze. After a long research with our laboratory we have found a fine formula that spreads smoothly and leaves hardly any white haze.
Sunscreen with natural ingredients
Non-nano uncoated zinc is currently the most coral and ocean friendly option. Because it is non-nano, no nanoparticles can end up in your bloodstream or the coral. There is also no silicone layer around the zinc particles (uncoated).

Heerlijk spul!
Op zoek naar een zonnebrandcrème die goed beschermt én niet belastend is voor mens en milieu kwam ik bij Food for Skin terecht. Ik ben niet teleurgesteld! De crème is heerlijk verzorgend en beschermt uitstekend. Wel even goed schudden voor gebruik :-)

Zonder gif en plakt niet
Een natuurlijke, goed smeerbare zonnebrandcrème die niet plakt. En ook nog zonder gif!

Heb een hele droge huid, en dit pakket is hiervoor heel fijn. De cleanser maakt schoon en voedt, en dat is 's avonds het enige dat ik doe. Crème en olie erbij doe ik niet omdat ik dat vettige gevoel vervelend vind als ik ga slapen. Maar de cleanser hydrateert ook en dat merk ik. 's Ochtends reinig ik mijn gezicht alleen met water, en gebruik ik de avocado olie alleen in de hele koude maanden. Dan is mijn huid het meest droog en is het fijn om die extra voeding te hebben. De crème gebruik ik altijd. Al met al zeer tevreden. Wel even wennen aan de geuren (want het ruikt allemaal wat 'aards', niet per se lekker) maar dat is het meer dan waard. Omdat het uiteindelijk beter is voor mijn huid en voor het mileu.
