Customers sometimes ask us whether natural facial care is just as good as the synthetic products they currently use.

When Cathy & Angela started Food for Skin, their starting point was: these have to be products of the highest quality, so that people keep using them. Without fans, no lasting impact. So rest assured. Our natural skincare has been developed with a great deal of care, testing and independent analysis. We have won several Dutch Beauty Awards and receive glowing reviews. So the quality, what it does for your skin, has been worked on with the greatest care!

Our natural care products contain no potentially harmful substances such as parabens, perfume, added microplastics or SLS. Our natural skincare also contains no fillers such as water. It is pure facial care with the most powerful and nourishing ingredients from nature: vegetables, plants and seeds.

On your skin there is a natural layer (the microbiome), where natural oils, viruses and bacteria live to ensure that your natural ecosystem functions. When you use aggressive, drying ingredients, this delicate ecosystem can be disrupted or even damaged. This can lead to a disrupted, sensitive skin barrier and various skin problems. The natural skin products from Food for Skin bring your skin into the right balance, which strengthens the skin's own function, resulting in a radiant, firm skin.

In addition to high-quality products, we try to produce as sustainably as possible. For example, our natural skincare products are made close to home (everything in the Netherlands and the Apple Peeling in Italy). In addition, we use as many ingredients as possible from residual streams. At the moment, 20% comes from upcycling. This way, waste gets value again! We also do not pack our bottles in an unnecessary extra box. The glass can go in the bottle bank.
